Duncan: Saints' Juwan Johnson 'looks primed for a breakout campaign'
According to Jeff Duncan, New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson "has developed a quick connection with" quarterback Derek Carr.
After a strong offseason and training camp, Johnson is trending towards a breakout performance this season especially after he added weight and strength to play more snaps. In a potential full-time role, Johnson could be an intriguing TE1 in the late rounds in point per reception formats.
Per numberFire's models, Johnson is currently ranked as our TE14 with projections including 46.3 receptions for 517.5 yards and 3.8 touchdowns on 71.1 targets.
