Elliott has been without a team for most of the offseason after the Cowboys released him, but it looks like he'll find a home in New England for the upcoming season. The Patriots already have Rhamondre Stevenson lined up for a heavy workload, but Elliott should still pick up a not-insignificant role with the team.

Elliott lost a fair amount of work to Tony Pollard in his final season with the Cowboys, but was still that team's go-to guy in short-yardage situations.
