What It Means:

Keen preseason observers may have noticed that game one standout Tank Dell was inactive for the Texans' second preseason contest. While it initially looked like he may have already been getting locked-in starter treatment, Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 reports that Dell was held out for precautionary reasons but will be "fine" after dealing with some leg soreness. Dell does still appear to be on track to have a strong role in the Texans' passing offense this year, especially for a first-year player.

Dell will need to compete for looks alongside teammates Robert Woods, Nico Collins, Dalton Schultz, and John Metchie this season in what could be a middling offense, but the young receiver has certainly impressed in training camps this offseason. He is numberFire's WR112 for the upcoming season, but will be a player worth watching or stashing in season-long leagues this summer.
