Travis Kelce (knee) questionable for Chiefs Thursday night
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 1 against the Detroit Lions on Thursday night.
Kelce reportedly isn't dealing with a long-term issue after hyperextending his knee during Tuesday's practice, but he might miss the season opener. Noah Gray will take over as the Chiefs' top tight end if Kelce is ruled out. There would also be more targets available for Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney (knee), and Jerick McKinnon.
Kelce has a $15,000 salary on the single-game slate and numberFire's models project him for 9.0 FanDuel points, with 5.3 targets, 3.7 receptions, and 44.3 yards. The Lions allowed the eighth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing tight ends last season.
