Cowboys' Brandin Cooks dealing with MCL sprain, DNP on Thursday
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks (knee) did not practice on Thursday ahead of Week 2's game agains the New York Jets.
Cooks has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL and missed his second consecutive practice on Thursday. The injury may hold him out of Week 2 but it is not believed to be a long-term issue. Friday's practice report will provide more information.
The Cowboys are 9.5-point favorites over the Jets in Week 2. Their implied team total of 24.0 points is the eight-highest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
