Saints' Jamaal Williams (hamstring) questionable to return in Week 2
The New Orleans Saints announced that running back Jamaal Williams suffered a hamstring injury and is questionable to return to the team's Week 2 game against the Carolina Panthers.
Williams suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter of Monday's game and is now questionable to return. Williams' injury leaves Tony Jones Jr. as the only other active running back on the roster tonight, though Taysom Hill could factor into the running game heavily.
Williams was a focal point of the offense in the first half, rushing 9 times for 29 yards before his early exit. If he misses any additional time, rookie Kendre Miller will be a popular option on waiver wires on Wednesday.
