Lions list David Montgomery (thigh) as doubtful in Week 3
Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery (thigh is doubtful to play in Week 3's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Montgomery is unlikely to suit up in Week 3 after he was absent for all three of Detroit's practices. Expect Craig Reynolds and Jahmyr Gibbs to see more touches versus a Falcons' team ranked sixth in FanDuel points (12.6) allowed per game to running backs.
Reynolds' current Week 3 projection includes 7.6 rushing attempts for 32.3 yards and 1.0 reception for 8.6 yards while Gibbs' expectation includes 15.4 rushing attempts for 69.6 yards and 4.6 receptions for 34.9 yards.
