Schefter: Cleveland's Nick Chubb believed to have suffered a torn MCL, projected recovery around 6-to-8 months
According to Adam Schefter, Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb suffered a torn MCL during Week 2's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Despite reports fearing Chubb suffered a career ending knee injury, initial tests have displayed some good news with just a torn MCL and an ACL that "was stretched on the play" but not torn.
With an expected recovery around six to eight months, Chubb has a realistic shot to return next season if everything goes well.
