Justin Herbert throws for 405 for Chargers in Week 3
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert aired it out Sunday in the team's Week 3 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
With Austin Ekeler sidelined, offensive coordinator Kellen Moore opted to use Herbert's arm as often as possible. That led to a whoping 47 pass attempts, which Herbert used for a highly efficient monster of a statline. While Los Angeles might look for some more balance in future weeks, Herbert will remain an elite fantasy option going forward.
Herbert completed 40-of-47 passes (a hysterical 85 percent percentage) for 405 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also had 11 yards on the ground, finishing with 29.3 FanDuel points.
