Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) absent again Thursday for Lions
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) is not practicing again on Thursday.
St. Brown also didn't practice on Wednesday, but he ran and worked on the side with trainers, so the stud receiver could still return to practice on Friday and play in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers. If St. Brown were to sit out Sunday, it would open up more targets for Jameson Williams in his season debut.
ARSB is the WR6 in numberFire's Week 5 PPR rankings and our models project him for 14.4 FanDuel points, with 9.3 targets, 6.3 receptions, and 78.1 yards. The Panthers are allowing the fifth-fewest FanDuel points per game to receivers because they've been getting gashed on the ground, but their pass defense is 19th in our schedule-adjusted NEP model.
