Colts' Anthony Richardson (shoulder) taken to locker room Sunday; Gardner Minshew in at quarterback
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (shoulder) was taken to the locker during the team's Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Richardson appeared to land awkwardly on his throwing shoulder during a quarterback run and appeared to be in immediate pain after the play, remaining on the ground while trainers attended to him. With Richardson headed to the locker room for further evaluation, Gardner Minshew will take over under center.
Richardson was efficient in his 12 attempts, completing 9 of them for 98 yards. He rushed twice for 5 yards prior to his early exit.
