Giants working on Wan'Dale Robinson development
New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson will continue to "play some to gain experience and to gain development,” per head coach Brian Daboll.
Robinson set season-highs with 8 catches on a team-high 8 targets (22.2%) for 62 yards in Sunday night's loss to the Buffalo Bills. He played 60% of the offensive snaps and registered an 88.8% route participation rate. Darren Waller is the top target on the Giants' offense and Darius Slayton is locked in as a starter, but Robinson could emerge as the clear No. 2 wideout ahead of rookie Jalin Hyatt, Isaiah Hodgins, and Parris Campbell. The Giants' offense has been a mess this year, but they have a plus matchup in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to wide receivers this season and their pass defense is 27th in numberFire's opponent-adjusted NEP model. Wan'Dale is the WR40 in our Week 7 PPR rankings and we project him for 7.5 FanDuel points, 5.8 targets, 3.7 receptions, and 41.7 yards.
