Patriots' Hunter Henry (ankle) absent Wednesday
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry (ankle) is not not practicing during the portion of practice available to the media on Wednesday.
Henry injured his ankle in the Patriots' loss to the Las Vegas Raiders last Sunday. If he winds up being limited or unavailable for Week 7 versus the Buffalo Bills, there will be a larger opportunity available for Mike Gesicki in a tough matchup. Henry had 5-plus catches with over 50 yards and a touchdown in the first two games, but he averaged 1.8 receptions and 18.8 yards without any scores over the last four weeks.
The Bills are allowing the third-fewest FanDuel points per game to tight ends this season and they have the fifth-ranked adjusted pass defense in the NFL, according to numberFire's metrics. Henry is the TE20 in our Week 7 rankings and we project him for 4.5 FanDuel points, with 3.9 targets, 2.5 receptions, and 25.3 receiving yards.
