Seahawks' D.K. Metcalf (ribs, hip) a game-time decision for Week 7
Seattle Seahawks receiving D.K. Metcalf will test out his rib and hip injuries during pre-game warmups ahead of their Week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Metcalf missed multiple practices to open the week while he continues to manage his rib injury, but the team is also now reportedly concerned about a newer hip injury for the stud receiver. Metcalf's status for Week 7 appears to be up in the air, and could come down to pre-game warmups. The former second-round pick has played through injuries in the past, but the team could play it safe given their relatively-soft Week 7 opponent.
Our models currently project Metcalf, who has a $7,700 salary on FanDuel, to score 11.3 fantasy points against Arizona, with 4.9 catches for 61.7 yards and 0.5 scores. If he can't suit up, 2023 first round pick Jaxon Smith-Njigba could play a more active role in Seattle's offense.
