Cardinals' planning to "ramp up" James Conner (knee) heading into Week 10
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (knee) is eligible to return off on injured reserve for Week 10's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Conner, who has been on injured reserve with a knee injury since early October, is eligible to return against the Falcons this Sunday. Arizona is "hopeful" to open Conner's 21-day practice window this week. Asked about Conner, Jonathan Gannon said "He’s doing well too. He’ll ramp up and we’ll see how he does. Hopefully we’ll get him out there too." It sounds like Conner has a chance to face the Falcons on Sunday, dependng on how his week of practice goes. If Conner is active, he will be rejoining an offense with a better outlook than the one he left, with quarterback Kyler Murray expected to be back under center.
Conner's Week 10 projection includes 66.4 rushing yards, 16.4 receiving yards, 0.37 total touchdowns, and 11.3 FanDuel points. His salary is $6,500.
