Vikings' Alexander Mattison submitted to concussion protocol
Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison is in the concussion protocol, per head coach Kevin O'Connell.
Mattison suffered a concussion in Sunday's Week 10 win over the New Orleans Saints. If he doesn't clear protocol in time for Week 11 versus the Denver Broncos, Ty Chandler will likely lead the Vikings' backfield and Kene Nwangwu could be the primary option on passing downs.
Chandler played 44 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 10 and rushed 15 times for 45 yards and a touchdown. The Saints are allowing the fourth-fewest FanDuel points per game to running backs and the Broncos are allowing the most, so the Vikings' backfield will have a much better matchup in Week 11.
