Dameon Pierce (ankle) absent again Thursday for Texans
Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce (ankle) did not practice again on Thursday for Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Pierce also sat out Wednesday and is likely heading for a third straight absence. Devin Singletary will handle most of the running back work again on Sunday if Pierce is inactive. He rushed 30 times for a career-high 150 yards and a touchdown in last week's 30-27 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Mike Boone played 14 snaps and was targeted three times.
Singletary is the RB23 in numberFire's Week 11 rankings and our models project him for 10.4 FanDuel points, with 14.0 carries, 62.6 rushing yards, 1.3 receptions, and 8.6 receiving yards. The Cardinals are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to running backs this season and their run defense ranks 27th in our opponent-adjusted NEP model.
