Rams' Cooper Kupp dealing with low-ankle sprain
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp suffered a low-ankle sprain in Sunday's 17-16, Week 11 win over the Seattle Seahawks, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Kupp did not play another snap after suffering his ankle injury in the Rams' Week 11 win, but according to Rapoport was pushing to return to the game and appears to have avoided a high ankle sprain. We'll have to monitor the Rams' practice reports this week and wait for more information, but it sounds like Kupp might have a shot of playing again sooner rather than later.
The Rams' passing offense features Kupp whenever the former Super Bowl MVP is healthy, but has leaned on young players like Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell when Kupp has been sidelined. Nacua finished Week 11 with 5 grabs for 70 yards and a score while Atwell was close to nabbing a critical fourth-down conversion but finished with 1 catch for 17 yards. If Kupp misses the Rams' Week 12 game on Sunday both Nacua and Atwell would be relevant receivers for fantasy.
