Harbaugh: Mark Andrews (ankle) has 'outside chance' for 2023 return for Ravens
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told media members Monday that tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) has an "outside chance" of returning at some point in 2023.
Harbaugh told media members that testing on Andrews' injured ankle returned cleaner results than expected, giving the star tight end a chance to return at some point later this season. The veteran is still a likely injured reserve candidate and might not return in time to make an impact in fantasy football, but the 8-3 Ravens would be ecstatic to have him back on the field for the playoffs later this season.
Andrews was off to a hot start before his first quarter injury on Thursday, catching both of his targets for 23 yards and finishing his second grab just outside the end zone. His presence in the red zone will be sorely missed, as his 6 receiving touchdowns surpass the 4 touchdowns scored by their trio of starting receivers this year.
