Rico Dowdle (ankle) DNP on Dallas estimate Monday
Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) is listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report for Week 12 against the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving.
Dowdle gained 20 yards on 10 touches in Sunday's 33-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. It was the second straight game he saw double-digit touches in a positive game script, but Dowdle failed to capitalize on the expanded workload. The Cowboys should be in another positive script on Thursday at home versus Washington, so Dowdle will likely have another shot at additional touches.
Dowdle played more than 25 percent of the offensive snaps each of the last two weeks, after previously only reaching that mark once this season. He averaged 0.15 Rushing Net Expected points on 20 carries in those two games while Pollard averaged negative-0.01 Rushing NEP on 27 carries in that span.
