Texans' Dameon Pierce (ankle) opens Week 12 with full practice
Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce (ankle) practiced in full on Wednesday for Week 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Pierce seems to be on track to play after missing the past three games. Devin Singletary has thrived as the Texans' workhorse during Pierce's absence, but he might fall back into a split backfield if both backs are active.
Pierce is the RB35 in numberFire's Week 12 rankings and our models project him for 8.5 FanDuel points, with 12.2 carries, 48.9 rushing yards, 1.2 receptions, and 8.2 receiving yards. The Jaguars are ranked 14th in FanDuel points allowed per game to running backs and their run defense is ranked 15th, per our opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings.
