Bucs' Baker Mayfield (ankle) taken to sidelines; Kyle Trask in at quarterback
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (ankle) was taken to the medical tent during the team's Week 12 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
What It Means:
Mayfield suffered an apparent ankle injury during a quarterback sneak in the first quarter and was helped to the sidelines for further evaluation. Kyle Trask will take over at quarterback in the interim.
Mayfield connected with Mike Evans for a nice, long reception that took the Bucs into 1st and goal, but suffered his ankle injury on a quarterback sneak attempt.
