Schefter: Titans' Derrick Henry placed in concussion protocol
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is in the NFL concussion protocol, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Henry exited Sunday's 31-28, Week 13 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth quarter and didn't return. The Titans play on Monday night versus the Miami Dolphins in Week 14, so Henry will have an extra day to clear protocol. Third-round rookie Tyjae Spears will fill in as the lead back if Henry is unavailable.
Henry played 34 of 85 snaps (40.0%) in Week 13 and scored 24.5 FanDuel points, with 21 carries, 102 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 catch, and 18 receiving yards. Spears played 57 offensive snaps and had 20 touches for 88 yards, with more than half of the volume coming after Henry exited.
