Tyrod Taylor (ribs) returning to Giants practice Monday
New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor (ribs) has been designated to return from injured reserve.
The Giants said Taylor will return to practice on Monday for the first time since injuring his ribs in Week 8. If he avoids a setback during the week, Taylor could replace Tommy DeVito as the starter for Monday night's Week 14 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
Taylor completed 57 of 87 pass attempts (65.5%) for 579 yards with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions in seven games (three starts) before landing on IR. He also rushed 22 times for 98 yards. The veteran is leading the Giants with 0.07 Passing Net Expected points per attempt this season. DeVito is averaging negative-0.16 Passing NEP per attempt.
