Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson out multiple weeks with high ankle sprain
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson has been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and will miss "a few weeks," according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Stevenson injured his ankle in the Patriots' Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Ezekiel Elliott (thigh) will lead the backfield while Stevenson is sidelined, starting with a road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night. Ty Montgomery and JaMycal Hasty could see some backfield snaps behind Elliott.
