Bengals' Jake Browning (thumb) heads to sidelines; A.J. McCarron steps in at quarterback
The Cincinnati Bengals replaced Jake Browning (thumb) with backup A.J. McCarron in their Week 14 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Browning was having another surprisingly solid start as the Bengals' quarterback, but suffered a thumb injury before removing himself from the game. A.J. McCarron will handle quarterbacking duties while he heads to the locker room.
Browning helped the Bengals score 28 more points before his injury, tossing 2 touchdowns and rushing another score in. He had completed 17 of 23 attempts for 274 yards.
