C.J. Stroud (concussion) removed from Week 14 game; Davis Mills in at quarterback
The Houston Texans replaced C.J. Stroud (concussion evaluation) with Davis Mills in their Week 14 game against the New York Jets.
Stroud was slammed to the ground late in the Texans' Week 14 game and appeared to hit his head hard on the turf. He was able to leave the field under his own power but is highly unlikely to return. Davis Mills will close out the unfortunate affair.
Stroud struggled mightily without any of his top pass-catchers in Week 14, especially after losing Nico Collins (calf) in the first quarter. Hopefully the Offensive Rookie of the Year frontrunner was able to avoid a serious injury.
