JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) ruled out for Pats' Week 15 contest
The New England Patriots ruled out JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) for their Week 15 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Smith-Schuster will sit out against his former team this week while he rests his injured ankle. The veteran was able to put in limited practice sessions each day this week so his absence is a surprise, but it seems as though he should be back on the field by Week 16.
The Patriots' passing game hasn't produced many fantasy-relevant outings this season, but Smith-Schuster did post a noteworthy 4-catch, 90-yard day against his other former team in Week 14 when the Patriots bested the Pittsburgh Steelers. His absence this week could open up more looks for rookie Demario Douglas.
