Dolphins' De'Von Achane dealing with toe injury
Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane (toe) did not practice on Wednesday for Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Dolphins are managing Achane's practice reps as he continues to deal with a toe injury, but the third-round rookie should be fine for Sunday's matchup with the Ravens. Achane out-snapped Raheem Mostert (ankle) 35-19 last week, but he was limited to 8 touches and 33 yards. Jeff Wilson could see an uptick in usage while Achane and Mostert are less than 100 percent.
Achane is the RB33 in numberFire's Week 17 rankings and our models project him for 9.0 FanDuel points, with 7.7 carries, 34.7 rushing yards, 2.9 receptions, and 21.3 receiving yards. The Ravens are allowing the sixth-fewest FanDuel points per game to running backs this season and they have the No. 12 run defense in the NFL, according to our opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics.
