Isiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) remaining out Thursday for Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) will not practice on Wednesday for Week 17 versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
Pacheco suffered a concussion on Monday versus the Las Vegas Raiders and will remain out for a second straight day. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) will also sit out Thursday due to an illness, but he should be feel better by Sunday's kickoff. If Pacheco is unable to clear protocol in time, the Chiefs will turn to Edwards-Helaire as their lead back. La'Mical Perine would play the pass-catching role after Jerick McKinnon was placed on injured reserve last week.
The Bengals have the second-worst run defense in the NFL this season, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings, so it's a plus matchup for the Chiefs' backfield.
