Jaylen Waddle (ankle) expected to miss Week 17 for Dolphins
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle) is expected to miss Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel downplayed the severity of Waddle's injury on Wednesday, but the receiver will likely miss at least one game. Cedrick Wilson, Robbie Chosen, Braxton Berrios, and Chase Claypool will have more snaps available if Waddle is ruled out. Tyreek Hill would also be able to draw more targets.
The Ravens are allowing the 11th-fewest FanDuel points per game to wide receivers this season and they have the second-best pass defense in the NFL, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics.
