Eagles' Jalen Hurts (finger) avoids fracture during Week 18 loss
According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (finger) avoided fracturing a bone in the team's Week 18 loss to the New York Giants.
Hurts suffered a visually concerning finger injury during the Eagles' upset Week 18 loss, but it sounds like the star quarterback is just day-to-day with the injury and should be on track to play on Monday night. Fantasy managers will want to watch the Eagles' practice reports for any changes in his status over the coming days before locking him into any lineups.
Hurts was not on point against the Giants in Week 18, but will hopefully be able to shake things off when his Eagles take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round. He is projected for the second-most fantasy points (20.5) among quarterbacks for the first round of the playoffs.
