Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta (knee) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.
What It Means:
While head coach Dan Campbell said his rookie's knee injury is improving, it seems unlikely LaPorta will be able to play unless he is able to practice.
Expect James Mitchell to see more snaps at tight end against a Los Angeles Rams' defense allowing 13.0 fantasy points per game to the position if LaPorta is inactive.
