Christian Watson (hamstring) a game-time decision for Packers Sunday
The Green Bay Packers will test out wide receiver Christian Watson' injured hamstring during their pregame warmups before Sunday's Wild Card round game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Watson, who missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury, has now missed the Packers' last five games with a separate strain of his hamstring. According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport the team has "some optimism" about their former second-round pick returning to the field tonight against the Cowboys. Even if he does return, however, the banged up receiver could still be limited during the game and would make for a risky start in fantasy football.
Watson's last appearance saw him 7 catches for 71 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Kansas City Chiefs' strong defense, illustrating the kind of upside he has when he is healthy. Our models project the speedy wideout for 8.1 fantasy points off of 3.2 catches, 43.7 yards, and 0.3 score if he does play, while FanDuel has set his salary at $6,000.
