Bills' Sammy Watkins (foot surgery) passes conditioning test
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins (foot surgery) has passed his conditioning test.
ESPN's Josina Anderson reported Friday that the Bills were planning to let Watkins "loose" sometime next week. It looks like the third-year wide receiver will have a very short stay on the PUP list.
Among the 48 wideouts to see at least 80 targets last season, Watkins ranked first in Reception Net Expected Points per target. He finished the year with 60 catches for 1,047 yards and 9 scores on 96 targets in 13 games. We currently project Watkins to rack up 1,081 yards and 9.20 touchdowns on 69 catches this season, which makes him our 14th best wide receiver.
