Jets' Matt Forte dealing with hamstring injury
New York Jets running back Matt Forte revealed Sunday that he suffered his hamstring injury before training camp started.
It's just a day-to-day injury, but worth monitoring for a back of Forte's age. Forte plans to "take a deliberate approach, not wanting to rush back and re-injure it." He should return in a week or two.
Our algorithms project Forte for 188 carries for 841 rushing yards and 5.35 touchdowns this year, to go with 49 receptions for 391 yards receiving and 1.64 touchdowns. He's still our 14th-best running back for fantasy purposes.
