Marvin Jones emerging as Lions' top receiver
Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones has emerged as the team's top receiver, according to MLive.com's Kyle Meinke.
"And in recent days, it hasn't been all that close," writes Meinke. In Tuesday's practice, quarterback Matthew Stafford attempted 14 passes in live drills, and Jones was the target on seven of them. Jones has been "catching everything in his orbit" this summer, and has taken over as Stafford's "favorite target" and the "clear-cut deep threat." Jones has a chance at his first 1,000-yard season this year.
Our algorithms project Jones as the 32nd-best wide receiver for fantasy right now, with 79 receptions for 996 yards and 4.55 touchdowns.
