Malcolm Mitchell may only miss four weeks for Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell has been diagnosed with a dislocated left elbow, but may only miss four weeks, The Boston Herald reports.
This is extremely encouraging news, as initial reactions feared the worst for the 23-year-old. Fortunately, it appears Mitchell will avoid being placed on injured reserve. Unfortunately, he will be sidelined for the rest of the preseason, as well as doubtful for Week 1. He has appeal in Dynasty leagues, but isn't on the re-draft radar. An MRI on Friday should provide more information regarding the impact of the injury.
Our models project Mitchell to record six catches for 88 yards and 0.44 touchdowns this season for New England.
