Chargers' Tyrell Williams targeted six times in second preseason tilt
San Diego Chargers wide receiver Tyrell Williams caught four of his six targets for 47 yards in the team's second preseason game.
Williams was held out of the preseason opener with "leg tightness," but he looked just fine this past Friday night. Williams had a nice 14-yard grab on the sideline to convert a third down in the second quarter, and he hauled in three passes during a successful two-minute drill to close out the first half. Williams has a shot to carve out a big role in the slot.
Williams -- with a projected line of four catches for 67 yards and 0.41 touchdowns -- is just the fifth-best fantasy option on his own team according to our algorithms. He still has some work to do this preseason.
