Carson Wentz will start Week 1 for Eagles if healthy
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will start against the Cleveland Browns in Week 1 if he's recovered from his ribs injury according to Adam Caplan of ESPN.
Chase Daniel is penciled in as the team's Week 1 starter, but if Wentz is healthy, it sounds like the Eagles are ready to start the rookie in his first regular season NFL game. Wentz has been out since Week 1 of the preseason after taking a big hit, so despite barely playing in exhibition, the Eagles are prepared to throw the rookie right into the fire.
