Jamaal Charles (ACL) gets in limited work at Chiefs' practice
Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles (ACL) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.
After being limited through the majority of training camp, Charles is trending in the wrong direction for Week 1. Head coach Andy Reid said it would be a "stretch" for Charles to play in the season opener. Spencer Ware is expected to start and will be a popular DFS option for this weekend's contests.
Our models assume Charles will play against the San Diego Chargers in Week 1, albeit on a limited basis, projecting him for 8 carries for 39 yards for 0.36 touchdowns, as well as 1 catch for 11 yards through the air.
