Ravens non-committal on backfield approach versus Washington
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh declined to say if Terrance West will be the featured back Sunday.
"I expect to get all the guys as many carries as we can," Harbaugh said. "How it shakes out -- who gets what carries -- is kind of unpredictable." West will likely start versus Washington on Sunday, but the fact that Harbaugh isn't committing to him as the featured back coming off last week's 113-yard, one-touchdown performance shows the Ravens want to get rookie Kenneth Dixon involved. West is a risky play this week, but draws a soft Washington front that just gave up 120 rushing yards and a score to Isaiah Crowell this past Sunday.
Our models currently expect West to rush 10 times for 41 yards and 0.22 touchdowns in Week 5. We have Dixon pegged for just 10 yards on 3 carries in his NFL debut.
