Eddie Lacy (ankle) will undergo surgery, placed on Packers' injured reserve
Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy will undergo ankle surgery, and has been placed on the injured reserve.
With James Starks out for four weeks, the Packers have no depth at running back and recent practice squad call-up Don Jackson will share time with Knile Davis and wide receiver Ty Montgomery in the backfield.
Lacy was turning in a solid season before the injury, and his 0.08 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry ranked sixth among the 29 backs with 50-plus carries through Week 6.
