Thomas Rawls (fibula) ruled out by Seahawks for Week 9
Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls (fibula) will not play Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills, said head coach Pete Carroll.
Carroll is committed to waiting until Rawls is "fully healthy and ready to go," so the back is expected to miss a few more weeks. Once he does return to action, Rawls will be mired in a timeshare, so he doesn't make for a recommended stash in shorter leagues. The Seahawks also have a brutal run schedule down the stretch.
Our models currently expect Rawls to return in Week 11. We have him projected for just 27 rushes, 101 yards and 0.51 touchdowns over the rest of the season, as well as 11 catches for 83 yards and 0.30 scores through the air.
