Jerick McKinnon (ankle) to suit up for Vikings Sunday
Minnesota Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon (ankle, questionable) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 9 game against the Detroit Lions, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
McKinnon is back after missing last week's game with an ankle injury. He's a noticeable upgrade from the slow and plodding Matt Asiata, though Asiata may spell him on the goal line. McKinnon offers some low-end fantasy appeal in a favorable matchup with the Detroit Lions.
Our algorithms project McKinnon for 60 yards from scrimmage and 0.36 touchdowns on 16 total touches as our 22nd-ranked running back in fantasy this week. Asiata comes in at 29th.
