Mark Ingram (head) makes early exit for New Orleans
New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram was removed from Thursday's loss to the Carolina Panthers after taking a hard hit to the head.
He was laying motionless after the hit, and it's pretty likely that he's dealing with a concussion. The Saints had already been leaning on running back Tim Hightower a bit, and he ended last night's game with 12 carries and eight receptions. Expect him to play an increased role in the offense moving forward.
Ingram posted a team-low -0.97 Rushing Net Expected Points on 7 carries in Thursday's loss, per numberFire Live.
