Stefon Diggs (knee) expected to sit Week 12
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) will likely be inactive for Thursday's matchup against the Detroit Lions, reports Adam Schefter.
If the Vikings were playing on a normal week, Diggs likely would be ready for Week 12, but they don't, so he's not. When healthy, he's been the focal point of Minnesota's offense this season, so it's a pretty major loss. Adam Thielen should be viewed as a WR3 on Thanksgiving against a porous Detroit secondary.
The Lions currently rank dead-last in the league in terms of Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) allowed per play, so Thielen's matchup is as good as it gets for fantasy purposes. Among the 66 receivers with at least 50 targets this season, Thielen ranks behind only Doug Baldwin in terms of Reception NEP per target.
