Falcons' Julio Jones (toe) was trying to be careful
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones said he was "trying to be careful" in his return from a toe injury Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers.
Jones played just 62 percent of the offensive snaps, his lowest percentage of the season. Jones seemed to come out of the game unscathed, however, and did plenty of damage while he was on the field. With the Falcons able to lock up the NFC's second seed in Week 17, Jones should be out there again this week, although it would not be surprising if he played limited snaps.
Jones saw seven targets, earning 4.80 Net Expected Points in Week 16 per numberFire Live.
