Jordy Nelson (ribs) hopeful he can play for Packers after limited practice
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson (broken ribs) acknowledged that he remains far from 100 percent heading into Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons.
"I've never played receiver with broken ribs," admitted Nelson. "We'll find out, hopefully. ... It's one of those things that you'll figure out when you get there. If it happens, we'll see how it goes." Jordy was officially listed as "limited" at Wednesday's practice, and while he's slowly moving in the right direction, it remains unlikely that he'll be available for the Packers on Sunday.
If Nelson's at full strength and plays, we project him as the sixth-best wide receiver option for fantasy this week. Our models project him for 42 receiving yards and 0.32 touchdowns on three catches.
