Joique Bell says he sees "greatness" in Ameer Abdullah
The praise keeps rolling in for Detroit Lions Ameer Abdullah, with Joique Bell now getting in on the act.
Bell, Abdullah's chief competition for touches, said he sees a lot of "greatness" in the Lions rookie back. Bell is currently working his way back from an injury, leaving the door open for Abdullah to show what he can do. Abdullah impressed in the Lions preseason opener, ripping off a highlight-reel 47-yard run.
Bell has been under 4.0 yards per carry each of the past two seasons, but our projections still peg him as the Detroit back to own (in redraft leagues). We have Abdullah slotted for 410 yards on 104 carries while Bell is projected for 805 yards on 197 attempts.
